🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Calling all runners and walkers: Join us Aug 2, 2025 for a scenic 5K Fun Run/Walk on the Wilbur Wright Trail beginning and ending at our local YMCA. This is a family friendly race, strollers welcome, but please keep it to your 2-legged family members (no pets).

🎶 Fundraising Purpose

This is our inaugural NC Band 5k. Boosters are raising funds to purchase a new sound system to support our Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, Festival and Open Class Indoor Percussion groups.

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: You may register online at runsignup.com ahead of time.
• Day-of Registration: Register the day of from 7:30-8:30am (all registrations will be completed online, even day-of registrations).
• Packet Pick-Up: Will also be on race day from 7:30-8:30am.
• Race Start: Race will start at 9am.

🏆 Race Fees and Prizes

Race is $20/person including all processing fees, and you'll receive awesome race swag!

Prizes for the top 3 overall male and female finishers. As this is a fun run, we will not be using a timing company this year.
