🗺️ History of the Mount Wilson Trail
- Oldest Trail Race: One of the oldest trail races in California.
- Distance: The Mt. Wilson Trail Race covers 8.6 miles from Kersting Court to Orchard Camp and back.
- Elevation Gain: The race features an elevation gain of over 2160 feet on a winding course.
- Historical Significance: The original path was first used by the Gabrielino Indians and was dug out by Benjamin "Don Benito" Wilson in 1864.
