Race Overview
We are back at Hansen Dam!! It's time for our Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon run/walk on Saturday 11/29/25! This is on Saturday 11/29 not on Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving Day is at Woodley Park.

Event Details and Schedule
- Bib pick up: 6:30-7:20 AM
- Start: 7:30 AM
- Course: The course is super easy to follow, consisting of loops around the path that will be marked.
- Terrain: Easy out and back course with one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start.
Race Course
- 5k: 1 loop
- 10k: 2 loops
- 15k: 3 loops with an aid station at every loop. More details can be found here.
- Half marathon: 3 x extended 5k loops. More details can be found here.
Additional Information
- Time limit: 3:15. If more time is needed please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for an early start.
- Results: Everyone will get a time and place on our results page at: www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Photos: We take pictures that are free to download on our Facebook page.
- Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun and personal racing experience.
