5th Annual Save the Planet - Recycle 5K

🌍 Race Overview

We are excited to offer this unique and low cost 5K event that focuses on recycling and our effort to a better tomorrow. The Save the Planet - Recycle 5K will be held Sunday July 27, 2025 at TY Park in Hollywood.

What is unique about the Save our planet - Recycle 5K?

• Recycled Medals and Shirts: We will recycle our medals and event shirts, from past events, for this event.
• Avoiding Waste: We do not want any medals or shirts to go to waste and fill up our landfills.
• Cool Collectibles: This provides each participant to receive some of the largest and coolest medals dating from 2023 and 2025.
• Cost Savings: Because the event does not purchase new medals and shirts for the event, we pass the savings on to you!

💰 Entry Details

The entry fee for the Save the Planet - Recycle 5K is only $25.00 (through July 10, 2025). This will include:

• Personalized Race Bib: A unique bib for every participant.
• Finisher Medal: Choose a medal of your choice upon finishing.
• Shirt Selection: A customizable shirt option at packet pickup.
• Completion Certificate: A personalized race completion certificate for each participant.

🏆 Awards

We will provide awards to the top 3 overall, Masters, Senior Masters, and top 3 in each age group. Age groups will be as follows:

• Men's and Women's: Categories include 0-8: 9-14: 15-19: 20-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75-79: and 80+

📅 Event Schedule

TY Park provides a beautiful setting for this 5K. The race will begin at 7:30am.

• Friday, July 25, 2025: 2:00pm to 6:00pm - Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Victory Sports Management, 4580 N Hiatus Rd, Sunrise, FL 33351
• Sunday, July 27, 2025: TY Park, 3300 N Park Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021
• 7:00am: Registration and Packet Pickup Open
• 7:00am: Music and festivities begin
• 7:25am: Announcements and National Anthem
• 7:30am: Start of the Save the Planet - Recycle 5K
• 8:25am: Dancing and Party
• 8:40am: Awards Ceremony
