• Kids Races: 7:30 AM
• 5K & 3K Start: 8:00 AM

• Address: Start/Finish Line, 325 N Douty Street (Between Superior Dairy & Civic Center Park), Hanford, CA
• Note: Located On Douty, in front of Superior Dairy

Event Details

• What: The Turkey Trot is back, organized by Champions Recovery Alternative Services. Come join the fun on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful downtown Hanford.
• When: Thursday, November 26, 2026, at 8 AM. (Kids Races will start at 7:30 AM) - Rain or Shine.
• Course: Scenic route around downtown: the 5K splits for an out-and-back on Douty Street while 3K walkers return to the Finish Line!

Awards & Recognition

• Medals: Awarded to Top 20 Male & Top 20 Female 5K Finishers, must be registered in the 5K chip-timed race.
• Kids Races: 1/4 Mile Fun Race, and 1/2 Mile Fun Race.
• Biggest Flock Award: Create your team/group, invite friends and family to join... Win the BIGGEST FLOCK AWARD! Tie-Breaker - Best Dressed!
• Best Dressed Turkey Award: Dress in your best turkey outfit to compete for the "Best Dressed Turkey Award".

Packet Pick-Up

• Dates: Tuesday, November 24th & Wednesday, November 25th from 9 AM to 6 PM
• Location: 311 N Douty Street (Champions Corporate Office).
• Thanksgiving Morning: Packet pickup opens at 6:30 AM.
• Advice: Please pick up your packet early to avoid long lines on race day!
