DESCRIPTION

• Event: Join the Seashore Striders & the Sandhill Sports Foundation for their Inaugural Sandhill Summer Countdown 5k Run/Walk.

RACE TIME

• Start Time: 9:00 am

RACE REGISTRATION

• Early Bird: $30.00 Early Bird Registration...through Feb 8th at midnight.
• Pre Registration: $35.00 Pre Registration Feb 9th through Feb 20th at 10 pm.
• Race-Day: $40.00 "Last Chance" Race-Day Registration open at 7:30 am and will close at 8:50 am.
• Online Registration: Registration will be done online through runsignup. All participants registered by Tuesday, Feb 17th will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

RACE COURSE

RACE TIMING

• Timing Method: Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will be using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

RACE AMENITIES

• Finish Line: Produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.”
• Awards Ceremony: Post-Race awards ceremony within 20 minutes following the final finisher.
• T-Shirts: Custom printed t-shirts will be provided.
• Awards: Custom awards will be given out.

AWARDS

• Categories: Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions and the Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & O.
• Award Timing: Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.
• Pickup Information: If you miss the awards ceremony you may pick up locally in Lewes or have your award shipped for a cost of $10 to cover postage.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

• Policy: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy but offer options such as transferring to a future event, donating your entry fee, or deferring to the following year.
