9th Annual Lake Forest Chamber Elf Yourself 5K

🎉 Event Overview

The Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce's 9th Annual holiday FUN RUN 5K takes place in the stunning Lake Forest Sports Park on Saturday, November 22, 2025. It is a fast, flat course contained within the park. Our theme is Elf Yourself to kick off the holiday season! This is a fun family event for all, strollers and pets are welcome!

🎇 Post-Race Expo

• Local Restaurants: Restaurants passing out samples.
• Vendors: Various fitness companies present.
• Activities: Games & crafts for kids, photos with Santa, bounce houses, hot chocolate station, and more!
• Pet Parade: Bring your pets for a parade with awards for best dressed pets!

📅 Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: Make sure to register by 11/3/25 to receive a full swag bag.
• Packet Pick-Up: Friday, November 21st from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Location: Spectrum Specialties & Awards/The Lake Forest Chamber Office, 26239 Enterprise Court, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
• Additional Pick-Up: Available morning of the race, but arrive early!

🚗 Day of Race Information

• Parking: Enter the Sports Park from the Portola Parkway entrance (NOT Lake Forest Drive).
• Park Lockdown: The Park will be on lockdown from 8 AM to 11 AM for runner's safety.
• Overflow Parking: Available across the street at Saddleback Church.
• Timeliness: Get to the start line early!

🏃 Wave Information

This is a timed event with 4 Waves:

• Wave 1: Fast PR Elves
• Wave 2: Speedy Elves
• Wave 3: Runner/Jogger Elves
• Wave 4: Walkers/Strollers/Pet Elves

🏅 Runner Information

• Start Line: Located on the large grass area referred to as "the commons" before the soccer fields.
• Awards: Given in age groups for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd males and females.
• Finishers Medal: Every person will receive a medal upon completion of the race!
• Holiday Gear: Dress up in your best holiday gear!

📏 Course Information

It is a flat 2 1/2 looped course entirely within the Sports Park. The streets will be clearly marked with colorful arrows (one color per lap) & a lead cyclist from Pure Ride Cycles for the fastest runners.

• 8:30 AM - Race Announcer Starts/Line Up
• 9:00 AM - Wave 1 Release Fast PR Elves
• 10:45 AM - Pet Costume Awards

🎈 Post-Race Activities

Don't run away after the race! Hold onto your Bib # to check if you won any raffle prizes. Raffles ongoing at the DJ station. Keep checking back to see if you won!
