The Active Dash is Active Children Portland's Back to School Fundraiser!

Active Children Portland (ACP) brings the fun after the bell rings! We offer free after-school programs that mix sports, hands-on learning, and awesome mentors to help K–8 students stay active, curious, and confident.

When you join The Active Dash, you’re not just going the distance—you’re helping us keep programs free and full of heart for the kids who need them most. Every step you take supports more high-fives, more homework help, and more chances for kids to shine!

🎉 Activities During the Event

During this fun week of movement we’ll be hosting:

• Virtual Scavenger Hunt: You’ll be given a list of fun and silly prompts to keep an eye out for while completing your 5k (like someone who already has their Halloween decorations out!). We will have a private and interactive Facebook group to share your photos and videos, and there will even be prizes!
• Run/Walk with the Board: Meet up with our super cool Board of Directors for an in-person run/walk of the full 5k mid-way through the week! (Follow Link to SignUp for the In-Person Event)
• Virtual 5k: For those who want to engage more competitively, submit your times through RunSignUp, top 3 racers will receive prizes!

💰 Registration Information

The Registration Fee of $30.00 allows you to participate in the virtual 5k + access to all digital platforms and in-person/virtual events!

When you sign up, you will only be charged $30.00 total, there is no extra cost for participating in the in-person events!

All participants get a CUSTOM ACP Medal upon Registration!
