About this race
You don't want to miss this one-of-a-kind urban Adventure Race!
Join us on Saturday, October 17th for a day of fun, fitness, and community - all in support of Independence Landing.

Challenges: Participants will complete no less than five unique challenges along the 5k course. Challenges may include:
- Axe throwing: plastic axes!
- Army crawl: a fun challenge to test your agility.
- Creative tests: of your dexterity, coordination, and sense of humor!
- Family-Friendly: This event is suitable for all ages - bring the whole family!
- Competition: You can compete as an individual or as part of a two-person team.
- Awards: Separate awards will be given for teams and individuals by age groups.
- Costumes: Costumes are encouraged (but not required) and make for great photo ops!
- Finisher Medals: Finisher medals presented for all participants who cross the finish line after completing all of the challenges.
- Refreshments: After race refreshments will be provided at Independence Landing.
- Accessibility: While the 5K course includes a series of fun yet challenging obstacles, we are committed to making it as inclusive as possible. Accommodations can be requested during registration to help meet individual needs.
Prefer something a little more laid back? Join us for the Fun Run/Walk/Roll - a shorter course (less than a mile) around the Independence Landing complex, suitable for all ages and abilities. Note: This is an untimed event.
Stick around after the race to enjoy a meal at The Press Cafe, featuring fresh, made-to-order dishes prepared by our residents as part of our workforce development program!
