Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF) is proud to support Gut Check for Stomach Cancer, a powerful local awareness event led by patient advocate and DDF Board Member Yoli Day, Kelle Brown, and Joan Justin-George and with co-sponsorship support from BioMed SA and endorsement from the Mayor’s Fitness Council of San Antonio. This inaugural community event amplifies local advocacy and encourages South Texans to “listen to their gut” about symptoms, risk factors, and life-saving resources.

💰 ENTRY FEES

• 5K Run/Walk: 7/28 – 9/1: $35, 9/2 – 11/7: $40, Day of Race: $50
• 1 Mile Walk: 7/28 – 9/1: $30, 9/2 – 11/7: $35, Day of Race: $45 (1 Mile Walk is NOT a timed event)
• T-shirt Deadline: Participants must register by October 8th, 2025 to receive a t-shirt. Participants who register on October 9th thru race day will NOT receive a t-shirt.

📦 PACKET PICK UP

You may pick up your packet early on November 7th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Fleet Feet San Antonio - The Quarry, 7322 Jones Maltsberger Rd, #152, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Packets and registration will also be available on race day morning.

🕒 RACE DAY SCHEDULE

• 7:30 AM: Day of Packet Pick-Up and Onsite Registration
• 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk Begins
• 9:05 AM: 1 Mile Run/Walk (Start time will be after the 5k has cleared the start line)

⏱️ RACE TIMING AND SCORING

The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceTimerz, LLC. The race will be timed using reusable, RFID shoe tags. Please wear your bib to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Results will be available at our Result Kiosk at the race and online at www.raceTimerz.com

🏆 AWARDS

5K runners may receive awards in the following categories:
Top Overall Male/Female. Walkers are not eligible for awards. Awards will be based on chip time and not gun time.
