🏃‍♂️Event Overview

Join your fellow Slackers for a day, or 15 minutes of triumph, self-awareness, manifestation, and a COSPLAY-worthy contest.

The 5th Annual “I Can’t Bexar Another 5k” 0.5k on October 18th, 2025, at 10:00am sharp (or close to it) starting at Burleson Yard Beer Garden and ending at Alamo Beer.

🍻Event Highlights

• Free Beer: Hydrate yourselves with a free beer at Burleson Yard Beer Garden to prep for the grueling event. Yay!
• Selfies: You can take a whole bunch of selfies at our selfie “wall”, post them all over social media, and rub it in to your friends that you’re a FINISHER!
• Lazy Option: Simply indicate that you are truly a Slacker and too lazy at the registration, and we’ll mail you the swag.
• VIP Option: For an additional only $15, ride to the finish line on the tailgate of a snappy Silver Dodge 3500 chariot and receive a special lanyard.

🎁Goodies and Fun Stuff

• T-shirt: If you want a stylish, lavish, highly sought-after t-shirt, you must register prior to September 22nd.
• Sticker: The flashy oval 0.5k sticker shows your dedication to training and endurance for all to see.
• Medals: EVERYONE gets one, and it’ll be the coolest one you ever got. It doubles as a coaster.
• Rejuvenation Station: We will have a rejuvenation station and first aid (not really—if you need it, it’s on you) at the halfway mark.

🎉Costume Contests

There’s a very competitive, popular vote individual and group costume contests with prizes. Dress up in anything fun or ridiculous.

🍂Post-Race Celebration

Post- “race” celebration at Alamo Beer, where they’re opening early just for us. Enjoy another free beer during Alamo Beer’s OKTOBERFEST celebration with live music.

We need volunteers! Simply sign up at the link that says “Volunteer” and you still get all the swag and can drive over the finish line.
