Event Overview
Come out and Support Cliffs of the Neuse State Park's 6th spring trail race! We will have 4ish and 8ish mile distances as well as a 4ish mile hike option. Also a 50k ULTRA distance! And new for 2026 a 25k option!
Location Details
START/FINISH AREA AT THE BIG PICNIC SHELTER WITH REAL PARKING AND REAL BATHROOMS!
Everyone will park in the large lot by the lake.
Course Information
- Course Start/Finish: The course will start and finish at the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot.
- Trail Description: There will be a short section of gravel road but the 4ish mile loop, 8ish mile lollipop, and 50K/25K laps will be mostly beautiful single and double track.
- Terrain Features: The curvy trails include significant elevation change, bridges, and views of the river and lake.
- Course Marking: All courses will be marked and all runs will be timed.
Schedule
- 50k/25k Start Time: 9:00a check in 8:00a to 8:45a
- Other Distances Start Time: 9:30a check in 8:15a to 9:15a
- Registration Deadline: Online registration ends March 19th.
Post-Race Amenities
As always we will have delicious cookies and a small meal waiting at the finish line! (gluten free and plant based of course)
