Cliffs Of The Neuse Trail Run & Hike

🏞️ Event Overview

Come out and Support Cliffs of the Neuse State Park's 6th spring trail race! We will have 4ish and 8ish mile distances as well as a 4ish mile hike option. Also a 50k ULTRA distance! And new for 2026 a 25k option!

📍 Location & Facilities

START/FINISH AREA AT THE BIG PICNIC SHELTER WITH REAL PARKING AND REAL BATHROOMS!

• Start/Finish Area: The course will start and finish at the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot.
• Course Description: There will be a short section of gravel road but the 4ish mile loop, 8ish mile lollipop, and 50K/25K laps will be mostly beautiful single and double track.
• Trail Features: The curvy trails include significant elevation change, bridges, and views of the river and lake.
• Course Marking: All courses will be marked and all runs will be timed.

🚗 Parking Information

Everyone will park in the large lot by the lake.

⏰ Race Schedule

• 50k/25k Start: 9:00 AM, check-in 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM.
• Other Distances Start: 9:30 AM, check-in 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM.
• Online Registration: Ends March 19th.

🍪 Post-Race Celebration

As always we will have delicious cookies and a small meal waiting at the finish line! (gluten free and plant-based of course)
