Freedom, fitness, and fun await. Grab your red, white, and running shoes and let's make sparks fly. A flat, fast, all-paved 5K at 6:30 in the evening, starting right at the Bridgeway Station entrance and storming up and over the iconic Bridgeway Station Bridge before running through Holland Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

• Summer Evening Race: This is a summer evening race, which changes everything about how it feels.
• Post-Race Festivities: Afterward: a cold brew from Bridgeway Brewing Company, The City Market with several food vendors, and all-American tunes under the stars.
• Medals & Bib: Every finisher gets a patriotic medal and a custom red-white-and-blue race bib.
• Supporting Nonprofits: Your entry supports local nonprofits through the Giving Series.

Course

All paved, flat and fast. Starting right at the Bridgeway Station entrance, runners charge onto the battlefield, storming up and over the iconic Bridgeway Station Bridge, then run through Holland Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail and around the main parking lot. Directional arrows mark every turn.

Parking

Ample parking at Bridgeway Station, and it is free.

Aid Stations

• No Water on Course: but there is water at the finish line along with free beer and non-alcoholic options.
• Available Snacks: The City Market food vendors at the finish.
• Hydration: Water at the finish line, free beer from Bridgeway Brewery, and non-alcoholic options.

What's Included

• Free Beer at the Finish: From Bridgeway Brewing Company. Non-alcoholic options available.
• Custom Race Bib: Your badge of the journey.

Race Awards

• Top 3 Overall: The fastest three finishers will each receive a trophy.
• Age Group Awards: The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of 15 age categories will earn an age group medal.
• Series Recognition: This race counts toward season-long age group recognition in this series.
• Age Group Categories: Categories for all ages from 0–9 to 80+.

Every Upstate Race Series event is part of the Upstate Giving Series, which connects our 30 races with 30 nonprofit organizations serving communities across the Upstate.
