Uptown 5K on the Runway

Event Overview

Compassion will take flight at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) on Saturday, November 15, 2025, for the 7th annual Uptown 5K on the Runway!

Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and FXE invite community members of all ages to participate in a 5K fun run/walk on the FXE runway, where people, not planes, will take off from the runway.

Race Schedule

• Boarding: Begins at 7:30am
• Takeoff: At 8:30am

Post-Race Festivities

After taking in the sights and sounds on the FXE runway, participants will disembark into the Uptown 5K Village for free fun, refreshments and festivities. Join us and celebrate Aviation, the Uptown community and Compassion Towards Others.

Fundraising

All proceeds from runners and teams who participate in fundraising efforts benefit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation, supporting compassionate end of life care in Broward and Palm Beach communities.
