2nd Annual Berea Runners 5k Trail Race

🍂 Race Overview

Lace Em’ up! Come enjoy the autumn weather and sights. The Berea Runners Club welcomes you to one of central KY’s only trail 5k events. We are thrilled to be back for year two!

🌳 Trail Description

• Type: Single track, firmly packed DIRT.
• Loops: Three one mile loops.
• Terrain: Good mix of flats, rolling hills, and longer climbs.
• Crossings: One bridge crossing and one slate bed stream crossing (likely no water).

🚫 Mountain Bike Alert

Mountain bike jump features are closed to runners. While the larger bike trail complex is open to public, the race course will be closed to cyclist during the event.

🧃 Amenities

• Facilities: Porta Potty, water fill station.
• Snacks: Post race snacks such as fresh fruit and chips.
• Photography: Dedicated race photographer.

👕 Swag

TRAIL RUNNER t-shirt that you will want to repeatedly wear. Shirt image is viewable on the registration screen when you select your size.

📋 Important Details

• No Cut Time: All paces welcome.
• Low Waste: Cupless event: bring your water bottles (water available to fill up).
• Weather Policy: Significant rains will close the trails and postpone the event to a later date.

🏅 Awards

Medals for the top 3 males and females. Awards provided when you cross finish line.

🕖 Schedule

• 7:00 AM: Course marking and Setup.
• 7:15 AM: Sign-in & warm ups.
• 7:55 AM: Sign-in CLOSED. Mandatory safety briefing and Welcome messages.
• 8:00 AM: Race start.
• 8:30 - 9:30 AM: Post race recovery and fellowship. Finish times announced as you cross the line, online results posted next day.
