Spoonbread Festival 5K Overview
Lace up your running shoes and plan to join us at the 30th annual Spoonbread Festival 5K Run/Walk!
Date and Time: Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 9:00am
Location: Start/finish at Russel Acton Folk Center, Berea, KY
Race Features
- Course: Flat, paved course on the Berea City Trail
- Options: 5K run/walk, 1-mile untimed walk, and virtual option
- Shirts: Commemorative soft, poly/cotton unisex sized race shirts
- Timing: Chip timing with Overall & AG Awards (5-year age groups — 0-9, 10-14, 15-19 >>> 65-69, 70+)
- New Venue: New venue and race route for 2025!
- Photography: Free race photos
- Activities: Music, food, fun & fellowship
Beneficiary
Our 2025 race will benefit the Berea Chamber of Commerce which sponsors the annual Spoonbread Festival.
Packet Pickup
We'll hold our race packet pickup on race morning (Sunday, 9/21/25) from 7:30-8:45am in the parking lot of the Russel Acton Folk Center in Berea. There will be no advanced day PPU.
