Join us on Green Oaks Golf Course for our second annual fun run/walk 5K!
🎓 Fundraising Purpose
- Event Goal: This year the Divot Dash will be the main fundraiser for the Art Serafinski Scholarship Fund.
- Community Pride: Ypsilanti Township prides itself on being a community of opportunity.
- Scholarship Purpose: The scholarship named in honor of former longtime director Art Serafinski provides youth recreation opportunities.
- Eligibility: Need-based and designed to allow children up to age 17 to participate in recreation classes at a discounted rate.
🏞️ Event Details
- Family Friendly: You won’t want to miss this family-friendly 5k "Fore the Cause" on Green Oaks Golf Course.
- Timing: The event will be timed by A2 Race Management.
- Course Features: The course features fairways, bunkers, ponds, and greens. It is fully enclosed and on natural surfaces.
- Celebration: A DJ will be on-site for an after-run celebration.
🏅 Awards and Registrations
- Medals: Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age category.
- Rain or Shine: The event will be held regardless of weather conditions.
- Registration Times: Race Day Registration opens at 7:00 AM with the race starting at 8:00 AM.
- Food Trucks: Post-race, food trucks will be available, competing in a Chili Cook-off.
💵 Registration Information
- Pricing: Register early to avoid price bumps! Pre-Aug 15 = $25, Aug 16-Sept 20 = $30, After Sept 20 = $35.
- Shirts: Shirts guaranteed for registrations prior to September 20, after that subject to availability!
