NEW LOCATION! - Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis
SJC Racing is proud to continue the tradition of one of the oldest races in Indianapolis: the 44th Annual Polar Bear Winter Classic.
This year will feature a new location starting from the Fowling Warehouse!
🏃♂️ Race Details
- Unique Format: This historic race offers a 5K, 5 Mile, or The Bear (5K + 5 Mile).
- Challenge: The Bear allows you to run both distances, one after the other, for a total of 8.1 miles.
- Date: The race will take place on February 28, 2026.
- Location: 1125 E Brookside Ave d9, Indianapolis, IN.
🎁 SWAG
- Finisher Medal: All runners registered before February 1 receive a finisher medal.
- Winter Hat: All participants will receive a "Wear the Bear" winter hat.
- Optional Shirt: An optional Nike performance long sleeve shirt is available for a subsidized cost ($30).
- Registration: This high-quality, moisture-wicking shirt can be purchased during registration.
🏆 Awards
Continuing with tradition, the Polar Bear Winter Classic offers cash prizes and age group awards in all three event distances.
