Give 'Em the Bird 5k Run / 2K Walk (11th Annual)

Race Overview

We very excited to be able to hold the 11th Annual Community 5K run/walk (2K walk) to benefit the Easthampton Community Center this year!!.

Purpose of the Event

• Beneficiary: The Easthampton Community Center
• Impact: Funds raised will provide warm meals for families during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Last Year's Success: $35,000 was raised with the help of participants and sponsors.
• Goal: To raise the same or more this year.

Event Details

• Weather Policy: THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE!
• 5K Course: Flat to rolling route, starting and finishing at Millside Park.
• Course Highlights: Past mills and fields of Easthampton with one aid station near mile 2.
• Traffic Info: Half of the course on a rail trail closed to traffic, half on rural roads open to traffic.

2K Walk Details

• Start/Finish: Begins and ends at Millside Park.
• Route: Head south on the bike path towards Union Street, turning around before Union Street.
• Course Management: The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers.
• Shirt Requirement: Sign up before 11/03/25 to receive an event shirt.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:15 AM: Day of bib pick up
• 8:15 AM: Line up for race and pre-race ceremony
• 8:30 AM: START
• Approx. 9:15 AM: Awards ceremony begins
