Scary Scurry Kids Fun Run & 5K

Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
• Location: Lakeside Park, 555 N Park Avenue, Fond Du Lac, WI
• Beneficiary: Fond du Lac County United Way

Activities

• Fun Run: Register your children for the 1/2 mile run (12 and under)
• Family-Friendly: Lots of fun activities during Fond du Lac Festival’s Falltoberfest
• Strollers: The entire course is paved and strollers are encouraged
• Pets: Please, no pets allowed

Event Schedule

• 5K Start: Begins at 8:30 am
• Kids Fun Run: Starts at 9:30 am
• Snacks: Available immediately following the race
• Awards: For top runners by age, gender, and overall

Registration Details

• Online Registration: Closes on October 8 at 11:59 pm
• In-Person Registration: Available on October 9 and race morning
• T-Shirt: Must register before September 25 to receive an event t-shirt
• Pickup: Proof of registration required at bib pickup

• Date: Friday, October 9 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm
• Location: FVSBank, 51 E 1st Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935
• Date: Saturday, October 10 from 7:00 - 9:00 am
• Location: Oven Island in Lakeside Park, 555 N Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935

Awards

• Kids Fun Run: All participants receive a finisher's medal
• Top Finishers: Awards for top male and female in the 5K
• Age Groups: Awards for top male and female in each age group (0-14, 15-19, etc.)
• Age Categories: Categories range from 0-14 years up to 80+
