Flying Falcon Downhill Mile

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Looking to run the fastest mile you possibly can? Dropping 220 feet, the Flying Falcon Downhill Mile will allow you to run the absolute fastest mile possible. Taking place on the beautiful campus of the US Air Force Academy, the race will start at the top of Academy Dr. near Doolittle Hall and will finish just before the Falcon Stadium. This well paved road will be perfect to crush your PR and push yourself to your limit.

Afterwards, post-race refreshments will be provided along with music to promote having a great time! This is a perfect event to bring your family to!

🚗 Parking and Bib Pickup

For the event, you should park in lot 5, the 2nd or 3rd available eastern-most turn ins of Academy Dr. From here you will be able to pick up your bib from 0730-0945 before the race, where you can then be shuttled to the start line. This will also be where all post-race amenities take place!

⚠️ Important Registration Information

IMPORTANT: If you are a non-Department of Defense member, prior to the race you will be sent an email in which you will need a Real ID driver's license. With this Real ID, you will follow the instructions sent to you in the email to receive a QR code which will allow you base access for the race!
