Girls On The Run Greater Boston Fall Season Celebratory 5K

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone who participates in our 5K receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement.

🤝 What's a 5K Buddy?

• Definition: Every Girls on the Run participant at the 5K must run or walk alongside their chosen 5K Buddy.
• Age Requirement: A 5K Buddy is someone 16+ who is responsible for encouraging, motivating, and keeping them safe on the 5K course and throughout the day.
• Registration: Each GOTR participant should be paired with one 5K Buddy. We ask that only one 5K buddy register per GOTR participant.
• Additional Runners: Any additional people who want to participate should register as a Community Runner.

👟 What's a Community Runner?

• Introduction: For the first time, the Girls on the Run Greater Boston 5K is excited to have a limited number of 5K bibs for community runners!
• Opportunity: If you've always wanted to experience the joy of a Girls on the Run 5K, now is your chance!

☔ Event Details

• Registration: Girls on the Run participants and coaches are already registered for this event and DO NOT need to register again.
• Weather: This event will take place rain or shine. Please plan to join the celebration, whatever the weather brings!
