Run Manatee - Rye Preserve 5K -2026

Race Overview

• Event: RUN Manatee 5K series

Event Highlights

• Adventure: Discover Manatee County's parks, beaches and preserves on the run!
• Ecosystems: Explore sand pine scrub, xeric oak scrub, oak hammocks, and the river community.
• Wildlife: Look for the rare gopher tortoise and Florida scrub-jay.
• Activities: Fitness, food, and family fun for participants of all age and activity levels!

Schedule

• Arrival: Please plan to arrive for the 5K run by 7:30am
• Packet Pick Up: 6:30-7:30am
• National Anthem: 7:35am
• Warm Up: 7:40am with a local fitness instructor

• Fun Run: 8:00am - .25km
• 5K Run: 8:15am presented by RWP Runs
• Awards Ceremony: 9:15am for Top 3 male & female, Top 3 kids 12 and under
• Yoga: 9:30am with a local yoga instructor

Registration Information

• Cost: Event entry, warm up, yoga, and fun run/walk are free, but pre-registration is required for the 5K portion.
• Charity: 10% of registration fees will be donated to Foundation for Dreams.
• Non-Profit Support: Helping children of all abilities get outdoors and live an active lifestyle!
• Shirt Sizes: Guaranteed for participants who sign up by midnight on 10/30/26.

Packet Pick Up

• Date: November 18th and 19th, 8am to 4pm at Run With Purpose Nutrition, 8319 Lockwood Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL
• Date: November 20th, 4pm to 7pm at G.T. Bray Park, 5502 33rd Ave Dr W, Bradenton, FL
• Race Day: 6:30-7:30am at the packet pick up tent at Rye Preserve
• T-Shirt: Included in 5K registration with a custom medal for finishers.

Series Challenge

• Medal: Participants who complete all 3 events will piece their medals together for a special 2026 series medal.
