6th Annual Honor and Remember Run

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, OFS is hosting its 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run. The family-friendly 5K and 10K Trail & Ruck Run was created in honor of military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all who died on 9/11 and the wars following that fateful day. Ruck Runners are encouraged to participate in 2 sets of 22 honor pushups/pullups to help bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide every day. All proceeds will be donated to the Police Departments of Huntingburg, IN and Jasper, IN, furthering their commitment to keep our communities safe and honoring those fallen. Please join us in honoring these brave men and women.

  • 7:15 am: Check-in opens
  • 7:45 am: Check-in closed
  • 8:00 am: Opening remarks
  • 8:15 am: 10K Trail Run and Ruck start
  • 8:15 am: 5K Run start

Awards and refreshments will be provided.

• Pre-Registration: by July 18 (includes t-shirt)
• Race Registration: on July 19 or after does not include a t-shirt

5K Run

• $15: for ages 0 - 12
• $30: for ages 13+

10K Trail and Ruck Run

• $15: for ages 0 - 12
• $40: for ages 13+

Virtual Race Registration

• $45: for all participants
