Join us for the 2025 HomeRun for Habitat 5k at Silo Square in Southaven, MS.

🌟 Event Purpose

• Support Local Efforts: To date more than 10,000 participants have raised over $500,000 for the local Hernando DeSoto Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
• Community Engagement: The success of the HomeRun for Habitat 5k depends on community participation and sponsorship.
• Charitable Goal: Our goal is to raise $60,000 to help build ONE HOME in DeSoto County, MS.
• Building Futures: Recipients of homes participate in their construction and commit to a 20 year, 0% interest mortgage.

🏡 Impact Statistics

In all, the Hernando DeSoto affiliate has helped 31 families, 15 as a direct result of the HomeRun for Habitat.

• Chip Timing: Chip Timing will be utilized for accurate race results.

• Fall Fest: Enjoy inflatables, games, and arts and crafts at Fall Fest.
• Local Cuisine: Food and Drink from Local Restaurants will be available.
• Award Ceremony: Brick Paver Awards for top 3 in each age group.
• Finisher Medals: Finisher Medals for ALL runners.
• Musical Entertainment: Pre-Race and Post-Race Music will be featured.
• School Competition: DeSoto County School Competition to encourage local youth participation.
• Family Atmosphere: A Family-Friendly atmosphere for all attendees.
