Join us for the 2025 HomeRun for Habitat 5k at Silo Square in Southaven, MS.
🌟 Event Purpose
- Support Local Efforts: To date more than 10,000 participants have raised over $500,000 for the local Hernando DeSoto Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
- Community Engagement: The success of the HomeRun for Habitat 5k depends on community participation and sponsorship.
- Charitable Goal: Our goal is to raise $60,000 to help build ONE HOME in DeSoto County, MS.
- Building Futures: Recipients of homes participate in their construction and commit to a 20 year, 0% interest mortgage.
🏡 Impact Statistics
In all, the Hernando DeSoto affiliate has helped 31 families, 15 as a direct result of the HomeRun for Habitat.

- School Competition: DeSoto County School Competition to encourage local youth participation.
