Looking to test your speed or just enjoy a morning stroll? Then come join us for our Monster Mash Mile in Downtown Hilo at Wailoa State Park. Wear your best costume in celebration of Halloween :)

• Event: October 31, 2026
• 1 Mile Start: 9:00 AM
• Kid’s Race Start: 9:30 AM

📍 Location

• Venue: Wailoa State Park
• Area: Pavilion 2

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: Top 3 male and female mile times.
• Best Costume: Top 1 male and female.
• Stroller Award: Top 1 male and female.
• Kids Race: All kids will receive a prize.

💰 Fees

• BIRR Members: Free
• Kids: Free for 12 years and under.
• Non-Members: $10 donation.

Note: The "kids" race for those 12 and under will be a 400 yard event :)
