The Waterloo Library &: Historical Society presents the 2026 Bookish 5k &: the Cookie Fun Run (If You Give A Pig A Party)!

🍪 Event Theme

If you give a pig a party, they will probably party. When they party, they will probably feel guilty. But if they do this fun-run they can have their party, cookies and eat it too!

🏃‍♂️ About the Race

• Family Friendly: This family friendly race, originally inspired by Laura Numeroff's "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie", will tickle your taste buds AND benefit the Waterloo Library &: Historical Society.
• Brownies: This year we will be eating BROWNIES!
• Race Format: Don't worry, you don't have to eat them along your run. We':ll have some ready for when you are done!
• 1 Mile Event: If you are participating in our original 1 mile event there will be 4 Brownies in total so bring your appetite and running shoes to race 1 mile around the Library area of Waterloo.

🏅 Participant Rewards

• Medals: Participants will receive a Book or Cupcake themed medal.
• Free Book: Registrations under 5 will receive their own copy of this years book.

💵 Entry Fees

• 5K walk/run: $35
• Cookie Run: $15
• Children under 5: Free

*In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds: your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Waterloo Library &: Historical Society.
