• Awareness: In celebration of September as Sickle Cell Awareness month, join the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Philadelphia /Delaware Valley Chapter.
• Tribute: This event is founded in memory of our agency co-founder, Walter E. Brandon, to raise greater awareness about sickle cell disease and trait.
• Education: The event serves as a platform for continued sickle cell education and knowing your trait status.
• Inspiration: Attendees will receive inspiration and additional resources.

• Community: Your participation advocates for greater attention to this "invisible" genetic disease.
• Network: Encourage loved ones, family, friends, and your network to join in.
• Merchandise: Purchase this year's merch in honor of those living with sickle cell disease and trait.

🕖 Event Schedule

• 7:00am – 8:00am: Opening Ceremony
• 8:05am: Runners commence from "Starting Line"
• 8:15am: Walkers commence from "Starting Line"
