December 13, 2025. Race for a Wish was created to raise money for MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION UK. 100% of proceeds from this race will go directly to this charity!

📍 Location and Time

• Address: 1000 Woodward Avenue, RustonRuston, LA
• Start Time: 8 AM
• Event Options: 10k, 5k, and 1 mile for runners and walkers
• Route Details: Partly paved and partly jeep trail, out and back loop passing water stations twice

🚻 Participants

• Pets: Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcomed
• Facilities: 10k loop includes a bathroom at the halfway point at Cook Park

🎟️ Packet Pickup

• Date: December 12 from 12 PM - 5 PM
• Location: Anytime Fitness Ruston (1223 Goodwin Road)
• Race Day: Registration and packet pickup at 7 AM on race morning

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Male and Female overall awards for 10k & 5k, as well as age group awards for the following brackets: U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• 1 Mile Awards: Overall Male and Female awards
