• Natural Beauty: This incredible natural area (now known as LLELA) was originally wild and beautiful, full of an endless number of native species.
• Urbanization: The area around it became urbanized and the city moved in on it.
• Restoration Efforts: Now, LLELA, University of North Texas, and the City of Lewisville are working to bring back the wild.
• Community Involvement: We invite you to come take part in that process, and enjoy these special trails and eco-systems, while showing your support for LLELA’s great work!
