• Natural Area: This incredible natural area (now known as LLELA) was originally wild and beautiful, full of an endless number of native species.
• Urbanization: The area around it became urbanized, and the city moved in on it, eventually surrounding LLELA with suburbia.
• Restoration Efforts: LLELA, University of North Texas, and the City of Lewisville are working to reclaim, protect, and enhance the natural environment.
• Generational Impact: They are creating beautiful experiences possible for generations to come by restoring native plant, tree, and animal life.
