Jackalope Jam

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Format: The Jackalope Jam is a 6-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, and 100-hour timed event format.
• Participation: Participants can run, walk, hike, or compete in separate ruck divisions.
• Team Option: New in 2025, you can compete as a 2-6 person team in our 24-Hour Relay.
• Medals and Buckles: Every participant receives a medal: solo competitors completing 100 kilometers or more earn a buckle.

🏕️ Venue Details

• Location: 7IL Ranch, 5389 Mill Creek Rd, Cat Spring, Texas 78933.
• Access: Open access all week with course-side camping and great facilities.
• Course: An out-and-back course measuring exactly 2 miles (one mile out, one mile back).
• Support: Main aid station at the start/finish with a Texas-sized ultra buffet.

👟 Race Rules & Guidelines

• Distance Counting: Only fully completed laps (2 miles at a time) count toward your distance.
• Rests and Breaks: Participants can take long breaks, sleep, or leave and return to complete more miles.
• Medals: All participants receive medals for sub-100k distances and bonus patches for ruck participants.
• Exchanges: Teams can only exchange runners in the exchange area at the start/finish after completed laps.

📅 Relay Pricing and Format

• Refund Structure: Each time an additional team member registers, previous members receive a $10 refund.
• Registration Fee: All members pay the same amount: larger teams have a lower per-person fee.
• Team Composition: Teams can compete in all male, all female, or coed divisions (minimum 2 female).
• Member Adjustment: Changes can be made by the captain until the registration period closes.

• Wednesday, February 18: Packet Pickup from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 100-Hour Race Start at 9:00 AM.
• Thursday, February 19: Packet Pickup from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 72-Hour Race Start at 9:00 AM.
• Friday, February 20: Packet Pickup from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 48-Hour Race Start at 9:00 AM.
• Saturday, February 21: Packet Pickup from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour Start at 9:00 AM.
• Sunday, February 22: 72-hour, 48-hour, and 24-hour Races Finish at 9:00 AM, 100-hour Race Finish at 1:00 PM.
