The Karen P Nakon Turkey Dash

The Foundation’s annual family-friendly 5k run/walk, the Turkey Dash, is held annually on Thanksgiving morning at Avon High School. Over 1,500 runners, walkers, and spectators join together to move in support of financial aid for families in Northern Ohio impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis. Over the past 23 years, the Turkey Dash has raised over $500,000 for our mission.

Race Perks

• Race T-Shirt: Turkey Dash race long sleeve T-shirt or upgrade to sweatshirt for additional $15
• Snacks: Post-run snacks including pumpkin pie & fruit
• Refreshments: Post-run refreshments including coffee & hot chocolate
• Awards: Awards are given to the top 3 male and female winners, along with medals for the top 3 finishers in each age bracket (9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24,… 75-79, 80+.)

• 9:00 AM: 5k Start
• 10:00 AM: Awards

• Child Runner: Turkey Dash - Child Runner, 12 & Under Registration - Early Bird $25, After 11/1 $40
