Join us for the Amherst Skeleton Run on October 25, 2026, at Amherst Steele High School, Amherst, OH.

Start Time

• 7:00am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up inside Steele Gym Lobby
• 8:30am: 1/4 Mile Silly Run (K-5th grade)
• 9:00am: 1/2 Mile Funny Run (6-8th grade)
• 9:30am: 5K Run
• 10:30am: Awards presentation

Chip timing for 5K participants.

Registration

• 5K Run Pricing: $30 Pre-Registration, $35 Day of Race
• Kids' Runs: 1/4 Mile and 1/2 Mile runs are free!
• Youth Runners: Youth runners in the RunAmherst.com Little Comets Running Club do not need to register for the youth runs.
• Pre-Registration Deadline: All mailed pre-registered entries must be received by Friday, October 16, 2026.

What You Get

• Participation Medals: All finishers will receive medals.
• Apparel: Synthetic Shirt, Cotton Shirt, Stocking Hat (Cotton option only available thru October 1).
• Divisions: Dog and Stroller divisions!
• Post-race: Enjoy food and drinks after the race. Walkers are welcome!

Awards

• Overall Winners: Top men and top women overall.
• Master's Winners: Top Master's men and women overall (40 & over).
• Dog & Stroller: Top 3 overall runners in dog and stroller division (eligible for age group awards as well!).
• Age Categories: Top 3 men and women in various age categories.
