OHIOGUIDESTONE Promise Run

Race Overview

• Event: Join us in a 5k, 10k, or 1-mile run/walk to benefit the individuals OhioGuidestone serves.
• Participation: Each registered participant will receive a run bag with a Promise Run t-shirt and a complimentary smoothie following the race.
• Activities: Stick around to check out the brand new Wallace Lake Grille, enjoy family-friendly activities and applaud the top performers in the awards presentation.
• Location: We can't wait to see you at Wallace Lake!

Where We Run

• Location: Wallace Lake, Berea OH - Cleveland Metroparks
• Directions: Please refer to the map at the bottom of this page which includes a pin of the location of Wallace Lake.
• Note: Please don't use the 213 Prospect Rd address as it will take you just outside of the Metroparks.

Start Times

• 10k: Starts at 8:00AM ET
• 5k & 1-mile: Start at 8:30AM ET
• Check-In: If you do not pick up your run packet (bib + run bag) prior to the day of the run, please allow extra time to check-in and collect your run packet.
• Time: Check-in opens at 7:00AM on the morning of the event.

Registration Fees

• Pre-Registration: (now through August 31st) for individuals: 10k, 5k, 1mi - $40
• Group Registration: Pre-Registration for a group of 4 or more (now through August 31st): 10k, 5k, 1mi - $35/each member
• Late Registration: Day-of (September 1st-26th): 10k, 5k, 1mi - $45
• Opt-Out: Option to "opt-out" of receiving a Promise Run t-shirt as part of run bag to save $5 is available for all pre-registered participants.

Virtual Run/Walk

• Participation: If you have a conflict on Saturday, September 26th, you can still participate virtually and support a great cause!
• Flexibility: Run or walk at home on your own time or with an organized group in your neighborhood.
• Group Organizer: Contact Molly Martens at [email protected] to publicize your group's meeting place.
• Run Bag: Your run bag with your Promise Run t-shirt may be available for pick-up or shipped for an additional cost.

Timing Method

• 10k and 5K: RFID Chip timed
• 1 Mile: Untimed

Awards (10k and 5K)

• Overall Awards: 10k - Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female & Top 3 Non-Binary Overall (9 awards total)
• Masters Awards: Top Male, Female & Non-Binary "Masters" in 65+ age group (3 awards total)
• Juniors Awards: Top Male, Female & Non-Binary "Juniors" for 12 & under age group (3 awards total)
• 5k: Same awards structure as 10k

Packet Pickup

• Availability: Run packets, including your bib and run bags, will be available for pick-up in Berea the week before the event.
