5th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut

Registration will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

⏰ Online Registration Deadline

Online Registration: Closed at Midnight Thursday, August 27th.

Vendor Registration: Closes Monday, August 17, 2026.

🏅 Event Overview

• Event Type: A 5K running and walking event with 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut co-sponsored by Colonial Sports.
• Location: 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185 (The Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot).
• Packet Pickup: Race Day ONLY starting at 7:00 AM in the entrance to the field.
• Donation: Bring an item for the rescue for an additional door prize ticket.

🐶 Dog Safety Guidelines

• Temperature Consideration: Consider the heat and your dog’s ability to manage temperature and pavement.
• Water Availability: Water for the dogs will be available at the start/finish.
• Participation: Dogs can participate when accompanied by a registered runner/walker.
• Leash Rule: Dogs must be in a harness/collar and on a leash (NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES).

🏃‍♀️ Event Schedules

• 1 Mile Fun Run Walk: Starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
• 5K Start Time: 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
• Course: Runners will utilize USATF-certified course VA20012RT.
• Dog Participation: Dogs may accompany participants but must follow leash rules.

📸 Pup Photo Contest

Entry Fee: $5, open to anyone onsite with a pet. Contest Categories include:

• Best Dressed Pet
• Best Pet/Owner Look Alike
• Cutest Pet Smile
• Best Large Breed
• Best Small Breed

Winners will receive a prize!

🛍️ Vendors and Amenities

There will be a vendor fair with animal-friendly and community service vendors between 7:30 am and 11 am.

👕 Participant Information

• T-shirt Guarantee: All participants who register by August 25, 2026, are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Finishers Medal: A die cast medal will be available to the first 175 finishers.
• Food Included: (1) Beer and (1 slice) Pizza included in registration: non-drinkers can receive a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Parking: In the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.

🏆 Awards

• Human Awards 5K Run/Walk: Top three male and female overall, and in various age groups.
• 5K Competitive Walk: Male and Female Places 1st - 5th.
• 1 Mile Fun Run and Pup Strut: This will be an untimed event.
