Race Day Registration

On-site Race Day Registration at 7 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Registration Deadlines

• Online Registration: Closes Midnight Tues, Sept. 1st at Midnight.
• Vendor Registration: Closes Monday, August 21, 2026.

Event Overview

• Event Type: A 5K running and walking event with 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut co-sponsored by Colonial Sports.
• Location: 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185 (The Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot).
• Packet Pickup: Will be RACE Day ONLY starting at 7:00 AM in the entrance to the field across from parking area.
• Door Prize: BRING AN ITEM FOR THE RESCUE and receive (1) an additional door prize ticket. Please bring new items only.

Dog Safety

• Temperature Consideration: Consider the heat and your dog’s ability to manage the temperature and running on asphalt.
• Water Availability: Water for the dogs will be available at start/finish.
• Participation Rules: Dogs are permitted when accompanied by a registered runner/walker. Must be in a harness/collar and on a leash or suitable lead.
• Retractable Leashes: NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.

Event Schedules

• 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut: Starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, Sept. 5th, 2026.
• 5K Events: Start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, Sept. 5th, 2026. Runners will utilize USATF-certified course VA20012RT.
• Course Description: The course follows the road running parallel to Jamestown Rd., then right onto Landfall, run to a turnaround, and back to the clearing area.
• Dog Rules: Dogs may accompany participants on the course as long as they are in a harness or collar and on a leash or suitable lead. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.

Pup Photo Contest

Pup Photo Contest after the 1 Mile and 5K have finished. Entry Fee is $5 and open to anyone onsite with a pet. Contest Categories include: Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, Cutest Pet Smile, Best Large Breed, Best Small Breed. Each winner will receive a prize!

Vendor Fair

There will be a vendor fair on site with animal friendly and community service vendors for your enjoyment between 7:30 am and 11 am.

Participant Guarantees

• T-Shirt Availability: All participants who register by the deadline on August 28th, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Finishers Medal: A die cast finishers medal will be available to the first 150 finishers.
• Included Items: (1) Beer and (1 slice) Pizza included in registration. Non-drinkers and underage participants will be able to receive a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Parking: Parking is in the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.

Awards

• Human Awards 5K Run/Walk: Top three male and female overall and by age categories.
• Human Awards 5K Competitive Walk: Male and Female Places 1st -5th.
• 1 Mile Fun Run and Pup Strut: This will be an untimed event.
