Vegas Polar Plunge

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: January 24, 2026
• Location: 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy, Henderson, NV
• Options: Choose a 5k, virtual 5k, 1M, virtual 1M, or just the plunge option!
• Course: The race will be held at the Silver Springs outdoor pool and will traverse the Pittman Wash Trail!

❄️ Finishing with a Splash

• Jump In: You will finish the race by jumping into very cold water!
• Water Temperatures: In 2022, the water was in the low 40's. In 2023, the water was in the high 30's.
• Beanies: All of our runners will receive a Vegas Polar Plunge beanie to help keep your heads warm!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Arrival Time: Please arrive at the staging area 45 minutes - 1 hour prior to the event to pick up your bib.

☕ Post-Dip Goodies

• Refreshments: We will have hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies for all of our runners after their courageous dip in the pool!
• Extras for Adults: For those over 21 years old, we will have something extra tasty to add to the hot chocolate.
• Beverages: Enjoy cold Heineken Silver beer & Monster Energy drinks!

💦 Plunge Without the Run

• Time: At 12:30 PM, we will open the pool up for those plungers!
• Goodies Available: All goodies will also be available to the plungers.
• Beanies: Vegas Polar Plunge race beanies will be available to purchase for non-runners.
• Fee: Fee goes to the pool rental.

🚿 Locker Rooms and Showers

• Facility Quality: The locker rooms and showers at this location are always clean and spacious.
• Hot Showers: The showers will be hot and ready for you!
• Gender Policy: Locker rooms are not co-ed.

🌍 Virtual Runners

• Participation: Run with us in spirit!
• Items Received: All virtual runners will receive a medal and beanie in the mail within a week after the race.
• Jump In: If there is a cold body of water around after your run... JUMP IN!!
