Event Overview

The Tyrone Race Series presents The Book It for Huntingdon Library 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk! The Book It for Huntingdon Library 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk and Kids Sprint Event will be held along the scenic trail of Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station) in Alexandria on November 15th, 2025!

The start and finish line will be at Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station) in Alexandria, PA.

Timeline of Events

• 7:30 AM: Check-in and Day of Registration
• 9:00 AM: 5K Run Starts
• 9:15 AM: 2 Mile Walk Starts
• 10:00 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)

Course Information

Course: Out and back along the scenic rolled crushed limestone trail of Rails to Trails Alexandria. The trail is extremely flat and may be a good course for achieving personal best times.

Registration Information

• Early Registration: Registration on runsignup.com. Register by October 31st to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt.
• Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
• Additional Long Sleeve Shirts: Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up race day on November 15th, 2025 at Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station).

• Book It for Huntingdon Library 2 Mile Adults (18+): Early Registration: $30 | Day of Registration: $35
• Book It for Huntingdon Library 5K High School Students (18 years &: younger): Early Registration: $20 | Day of Registration: $25
• Kids Sprint Children 9 &: Under: Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15 | Early Registration with no shirt: FREE | Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

Cancellation and Weather Policy

• Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Huntingdon County Library, all proceeds will be given to Huntingdon County Library.
• Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Tyrone Race Series committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
