🏃♂️ Sweat For Vets Challenge Overview
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, runners, hikers, and walkers will join in supporting Veterans by participating in the Sweat For Vets Challenge at the Brush Mountain Sportsmen’s Association in Altoona, Pennsylvania. There will be a 10K and 5K trail race as well as a 5K trail walk for participants to choose from. The 10K race will be a challenging course scaling the Allegheny Mountains. A 5K race and walk will also be conducted in support of local Veterans. All events will begin and finish at the Brush Mountain Sportsmen’s Association located in Pinecroft.
🕒 Race Schedule
- 10K Race: Starts at 11 AM.
- 5K Run/Walk: Will follow at 11:05 AM (Walkers please line up towards the back to allow runners ahead).
- Young Recruits Race: 1/2 Mile race will start at noon.
- Awards: Please stay for awards and post race party!
