Turkey Trot 2025

🏃‍♂️ 2025 WAH Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K — Race Day Details 🏃‍♀️

Join us on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 for the WAH Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K, starting and finishing at the Elementary School in Windom, MN.

📍 Location & Parking

• Start and Finish Lines: The start and finish lines will be located at the main entrance of the Elementary School.
• Parking: Parking will be available in the school lot (mostly of the Middle School Lot).
• Arrival: Please arrive early to allow time for parking and packet pick-up.

🕖 Schedule

• 7:00–7:45 AM: Race day registration & packet pick-up inside the school elementary cafeteria/lobby.
• 7:50 AM: Pre-race announcements & warm-up.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk start.
• 9:00 AM: Kids’ Turkey Tots Dash (short distance, fun run for kids).
• 9:15 AM: Awards ceremony & prize drawings at the finish area.

🏃‍♀️ Course Description

• Route: The 5K route will take runners and walkers through the beautiful streets of Windom, with crisp November air and plenty of fall scenery.
• Mile Markers: Mile markers will be clearly posted.
• Support: Friendly volunteers will cheer you along the way.
• Water Station: Water will be available at the Gravy Station halfway point.

🎉 Finish Line Fun

• Post-Race Refreshments: Cross the finish line back at the school where post-race refreshments will be waiting — including our signature turkey legs for every finisher!
• Awards: Stick around for awards, sponsor recognition, and prize drawings.

🥇 Awards

• Top Finishers: Top male and female finishers overall will receive medals.
• Age Group Winners: Additionally, age group winners will also receive bragging rights until next year’s race.
