2025 Windom Area Health Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K — Race Day Details

Join us on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 for the Windom Area Health Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K, starting and finishing at the Elementary School in Windom, MN.

Location & Parking

• Start/Finish Lines: Located at the main entrance of the Elementary School.
• Parking: Available in the school lot (mostly of the Middle School Lot).
• Arrival: Please arrive early to allow time for parking and packet pick-up.

Schedule

• 7:00–7:45 AM: Race day registration & packet pick-up inside the school elementary cafeteria/lobby.
• 7:50 AM: Pre-race announcements & warm-up.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk start.
• 9:00 AM: Kids’ Turkey Tots Dash (short distance, fun run for kids).
• 9:15 AM: Awards ceremony & prize drawings at the finish area.

Course Description

• 5K Route: Runners and walkers will go through the beautiful streets of Windom.
• Scenery: Enjoy the crisp November air and plenty of fall scenery.
• Mile Markers: Clearly posted along the route.
• Volunteers: Friendly volunteers will cheer you along the way, with water available at the Gravy Station halfway point.

Finish Line Fun

• Post-Race Refreshments: Enjoy refreshments waiting back at the school.
• Signature Treat: Turkey legs for every finisher!
• Awards: Join us for awards, sponsor recognition, and prize drawings.

Awards

• Finishers: All finishers will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a turkey leg!
