🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

5K Your Way is a 3.1 mile race.

• Course Options: The participant has an option of either running/walking the asphalt trail system or the dirt trail system.
• Starting Point: All participants will start at a common point and split off onto their chosen course then merge together again at the finish.
• Asphalt Course Challenge: On the asphalt course there is approximately 200 yards of gravel (part of it uphill) which could be difficult with strollers.
• Weather Impact: The dirt trail conditions can be affected by weather. In the case that the dirt trails cannot be used, all participants will use the asphalt trails.

🐾 Pet Policy

We are dog lovers, but please be respectful to participants that may not feel the same by leaving your pet friends at home during the race.

🎁 Prizes and Awards

• Winners: Prizes for Top Male and Female Dirt Trail Winners, and Top Male and Female Asphalt Trail Winners.
• Age Group Medals: Medals for 1st place in each age group.
• Age Categories: 17 and under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
• Kids Fun Run: Finisher Medal and T-shirts for all the children in the Kids Fun Run.

🗓️ Race Schedule

• October 3rd: - 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - early packet pickup and late registration. Late registration fee will be $30 cash or check only. Location: Crawford County Forest Preserve shelter 5886 E. 1050th Ave Robinson Il.62454.
• October 4th: - 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. - race day packet pickup and late registration. Late registration fee will be $30 cash or check only. Location: Crawford County Forest Preserve Cabin 5886 E. 1050th Ave. Robinson Il. 62454.
• Pre-race Meeting: 7:45 a.m.
• Race Start Times: 8:00 a.m. - Kids fun run: 8:15 a.m. - 5K race start: 10:00 a.m. - Race day awards and prize drawings.

Also the race is paired with a couple of local events.

• Heath Harvest Festival: Located on the square in Robinson Il. featuring many street vendors with food and crafts for sale and a parade. Check the website for detailed information.
• Wabash Valley Wine and Arts Festival: Located in Palestine Il. featuring a historic main street loaded with wine, food, and craft vendors. Check the website for detailed information.
• Social Media: Follow all the race details on Facebook {5K Your Way{paved or trail}.
• Registration Deadlines: The cutoff date for a guaranteed t-shirt is September 15th. Online registration will end Sep. 28th. Late registration will be available at early packet pickup on Oct. 3 or race day packet pickup on Oct. 4.
