5th Annual Run/Walk for Rick's Place

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 5th Annual Run/Walk for Rick's Place, a 5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk, will take place at 9:00AM at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, on April 26, 2025.

💵 Registration Details

• Cost: $30 for adults, $15 for anyone 17 and under
• Honor a loved one: Honor a loved one with a Memory Lane sign to be displayed on the course! Memory Lane signs can be purchased in the store on the website by April 3rd!
• Registration opens: 8:00AM
• Race start: Run and Walk will both start at 9 AM.

👕 Shirt and Pickup Information

• Pre-registration: Pre-register by April 15th to ensure a short-sleeve cotton shirt.
• Pickup: Shirt and bib pickup will be available on race day beginning at 8:00 A.M.
• Weather: The 5k Run/Walk will take place rain or shine!

All proceeds from the Run/Walk will benefit Rick’s Place.

🌟 About Rick's Place

In 2007, Rick's Place was established as a non-profit organization to provide grief support to youth and their parents/guardians. We offer community and connection to families as they manage one of life's most difficult experiences - the death of a significant caregiver or sibling. We have free grief support programs for families on-site in Wilbraham two evenings a month. We also facilitate grief support groups in area schools and lead professional development trainings for school personnel and practitioners about the impact of grief on young people. Our grief support programs serve Western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut communities.
