The Chisholm Trail Community Color Run is back for our 7th event!!

Event Details

• Date: 2026-10-03
• Location: 6015 N. Independence St., Park City, KS
• Run: 5k Color Splash run/walk down the main roads of Park City
• Kids Fun: Free kids 100 meter fun run

Activities

• Color Toss Celebration: An end of race celebration
• Treats & Eats: Local vendors will provide food options
• Inflatables: Fun activities for the kids
• Support: All activities support Chisholm Trail’s PE department and fine-arts program(s)!

Course Information

The 5k Color Run/Walk follows Park City's main roads from Chisholm Trail Elementary to Hap-Mclean Park and back for an easy out and back route. Along the way participants can stop at water tables sponsored by Park City Pride and be doused in water-colors! After the race participants will regroup at the start & finish line for a post-race Color Toss Celebration!

Competition

While this is a great route for a fun family stroll, participants that are in-to-win-it can vie for one of our Color Run medals awarded to the top 3 male & female finishers in the Elementary/ Secondary & Adult age categories!

Community Involvement

Our event is open to Chisholm Trail students, staff, and families, as well as the Park City and USD 259 Communities. With volunteers from the Park City Police Department, Park City Pride, Sedgwick Co. Fire, the Heights Cheer squad, and more, we have been able to make this a well-organized and extremely successful event.

Additional Information

Individual color packets and nostalgic fun-run sunglasses will also be available for a cash only purchase at packet pick-up and on the day of the event while supplies last! Post race treats and eats will be provided for reasonable price by local vendors!
