Race Registration

Race Details

• Race Types: 1 Mile and 5K Race (All walkers and runners are welcome)
• Sponsors: Rose Hill High School Cross Country
• Start and Finish Line: Rose Hill United Methodist Church
• Festival: Race coincides with the Rose Hill Fall Festival

Logistics

• Traffic Control: There will be signs to aid traffic control.
• Weather Policy: Races will be conducted regardless of rain.
• Facilities: Restroom facilities will be provided.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM at race site
• 1 Mile Report: Report to starting line by 7:25 AM
• 1 Mile Start: Race starts at 7:30 AM
• 5K Report: Report to starting line by 7:55 AM: 5K race starts at 8:00 AM

Course Description

The Run for the Roses held in Rose Hill, KS is said to be flat and fast with an out and back course ran along Rose Hill Road.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Medals will be given for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age division for each race.
• Trophy: Top male and female finisher in the 5K race will receive a trophy.
• Award Ceremony: Awards will be given at the finish line immediately following each race.

Packet Pickup

Packets can be picked up Friday afternoon, October 9th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose Room at 101 N. Rose Hill Rd. and the morning of the race at the church.

Fees

• Race Day Increase: Fees increase by $5 on race day!
• Included: Race fees include a shirt: sizes determined at online registration.
