41st Annual Run for the Roses

Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2026

Location: Rose Hill, KS

Race Information

• Race Distances: 1 Mile and 5K (All walkers and runners are welcome)
• Sponsors: Rose Hill High School Cross Country
• Start and Finish Line: Rose Hill United Methodist Church
• Festival: Race coincides with the ROSE HILL FALL FESTIVAL

Logistics

• Traffic Control: There will be signs to aid traffic control.
• Weather Policy: Races will be conducted regardless of rain.
• Facilities: Restroom facilities will be provided.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 6:30am-7:15am at the race site
• 1 Mile Start: 7:30am
• 5K Start: 8:00am
• Location: Reports to starting line at designated times

Course Details

• Course Type: Flat and fast with an out and back course along Rose Hill Road
• Awards: Medals for the TOP 3 MALE AND FEMALE FINISHERS in each age division
• Trophy: TOP MALE AND FEMALE FINISHER in the 5K race
• Award Ceremony: Awards given at the finish line immediately following each race

Packet Pickup

• Friday Pickup: October 9th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose Room, 101 N. Rose Hill Rd.
• Race Morning Pickup: Available at the church

Fees

• Race Day Increase: Fees increase by $5 on race day
• Included: Race fees include a shirt
• Size Selection: Sizes determined at online registration
