🌱 About the Event

• Experience: Get out of the city and join us for the first annual Soil Mates Trail Race.
• Setting: Run on beautiful trails with fresh air, fun running mates, and no pavement over rich Georgia soil.
• Accessibility: This race offers options for all levels, whether you're a road runner or a weekend hiker.
• Course: The course runs through a family-owned working cattle farm that has been in the family for nearly 200 years.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Loop Length: The course consists of a 3.1-mile loop with a start/finish point in a large open pasture.
• Trail Features: Most of the trail runs through pastures with marked paths, while 1.2 miles are beautiful single tracks with various challenges.
• Wildlife: Keep an eye out for cows, deer, rabbits, armadillos, and turkeys throughout the race.
• Elevation: Gain 220 feet of elevation each loop over runnable hills and flat sections.

⌚ Start Times & Distances

• Start Time: All three distances start together at 9:00 am.
• 5K: One lap
• 15K: Three laps
• 50K: Ten laps. All runners must finish before the 9-hour cut-off for your results to count.

💧 Race Logistics

• Cupless Race: Please bring your own handheld water bottle and/or hydration pack.
• Water Refills: Available near the start/finish area and mid-way through the course.
• Race Swag: Awards for the first male and female finisher in each race.
• Meal Ticket: Included for all 15k and 50k runners from Gaby Cakes and Catering.

🍽️ Food Options

• Menu: Choice of tacos, fajitas, or nachos (a $10 value) for 15k and 50k runners.
• Availability: Food truck will be accessible for 5k runners and guests after 10:30 am.
• Shirt Deadline: T-shirt deadline has passed, but all runners who register by February 8, 2026, will receive a long-sleeve shirt.
