Soil Mates Trail Race

Race Overview

Get out of the city and join us for the first annual Soil Mates Trail Race. Run on beautiful trails with fresh air, fun running mates, and no pavement over rich Georgia soil. Running on soil is good for the soul and your soles!

Course Details

• Location: A family-owned working cattle farm in middle Georgia, between Macon and Columbus.
• Distance: 3.1-mile loop starting and finishing in a large open pasture.
• Trail Type: Most of the trail runs through pastures with a five-foot path cut through the grass, alongside 1.2 miles of beautiful forest trails.
• Wildlife: Keep an eye out for cows, deer, rabbits, armadillos, and turkeys while enjoying 220 feet of elevation each loop.

Race Schedule

• Start Time: All three distances start together at 9:00 am.
• 5k Runners: Will run one lap.
• 15k Runners: Will run 3 laps.
• 50k Runners: Will run 10 laps.

Race Requirements

All runners must finish before the 9-hour cut-off for your results to count.

Hydration Information

This is a cupless race. Please bring your own handheld water bottle and/or hydration pack. Water refills will be available near the start/finish area and mid-way through the course.

Race Swag

• Awards: Prizes for the first male and female finisher in each race.
• Shirts: A long-sleeve shirt for all runners.
• Meal Ticket: A $10 meal ticket for all 15k and 50k runners from Gaby Cakes and Catering.
• Food Truck: 5k runners and guests will have access to the food truck for purchases after 10:30 am.
