Refund Policy

• No Refunds: There are no refunds.
• Event Cancellation: If the live event cannot be held, registrations will be converted to the Virtual Race.

Race Description

• Event Highlights: Hundreds of runners from Illinois and surrounding states will compete.
• Course: The challenge covers the fairgrounds, Lincoln Park, Oak Ridge Cemetery, and back.
• Certification: The 10K course is USATF certified.
• Registration Deadline: Register by Sunday, July 20 to guarantee a race shirt! There will be NO extra shirts ordered!!!

Start Format

• Start Time: The 10K and 5K will begin at 7:30am.
• Start Type: Races will begin in a traditional mass start format.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Saturday, August 22, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
• Location: Erin's Pavilion, Springfield, IL - Look for the SRRC signs.
• Expo: Enjoy our little Expo with sponsors and a pre-race photo opportunity!
• Shirts: If registered by the deadline, you will receive the size you selected. Late registrants will not receive shirts.

Finish Area

• Refreshments: There will be bottled water, bananas, and other refreshments.

Race Results & Awards

• Results Notification: Participants who opted in will receive a text after crossing the finish line.
• Live Streaming: Results will stream live throughout the morning.
• Link to Results: Results available at ItsRaceTime.com.
• Awards: Recognitions for top overall and age group winners.

Race Medals

• Awards: Race medals will be provided at the finish line for both the 10K and the 5K participants.

Virtual Participants

• Eligibility: You may not register for a virtual race unless volunteering on race day!
• Result Submission: Submit your time starting Monday after the race for 1 week.
• Race Day: No shipping for virtual or live race participants.
