• Start Time: 8:00 AM (line up by 7:45 AM)

🛑 START LINE INFO

• Location: The start/finish line is located in the Lincoln Park Maintenance parking lot (near the Nelson Center lot), which will be barricaded off.
• Parking: Please park at the Nelson Center or other nearby lots. Look for directional signs and the large START/FINISH arch.
• 5K Runners: Line up toward the front
• Walkers: Line up toward the back

📦 PACKET PICK-UP

• Date: Friday, August 7 | 4–6 PM
• Location: Nothing Bundt Cakes – 2476 Wabash Ave, Springfield, IL
• Race Day: Starting at 7:00 AM at the event site

🖊️ REGISTRATION INFO

• Registration: Registration is open until we reach 500 total participants (runners and walkers combined).
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts guaranteed if registered by July 15
• Finisher Medals: Guaranteed for all registered participants
• Want a Shirt?: Volunteer with us and get a free race shirt!

🏃‍♂️ THE ROUTE

• Length: Three loops around the Lincoln Park main path (approx. 3.3 miles)
• Finish: Strong by turning into the chute on your final lap
• Start: Down the hill from the Start/Finish arch

🏆 AWARDS

• Top 3 Overall: Male & Female (5K only)
• Age Groups: Top 3 in each age and gender group
• Overall Winners: Receive a Full-Size Bundt Cake and a Special Finisher Medal

🚗 PARKING

Available at the Nelson Center and surrounding park lots.

• Porta Potties: Additional porta potties for runner convenience
• Vendors & Activities: More vendors and activities in our expanded Race Village
