Race Details

• Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026
• Location: 2660 W. Lawrence, Springfield, IL
• Race Options: 2 mile and 10 mile out-and-back races
• Finishers: All race finishers will receive a medal

Race Course

AMF Springfield Lanes will host this year':s Frostbite Festival. We are planning on the same race course, with the same roller coaster hills we know and love, with the same start and finish line.

Shirt Deadline

• Guaranteed Shirt Deadline: November, 2026
• Additional Shirts: Extra shirts will be ordered
• Shirt Size: As long as you can select a shirt size during registration, you will get one

Registration Information

Race registration will be open until 8:45am on race day. Registration is only through RunSignUp. No cash or checks accepted. No transfers or sales between persons are permitted.

In-Person Instructions

• Finalization: In-person race day details are still being finalized
• Email Instructions: Participants will receive an email with packet pick up and race day instructions before the race
• Transfer: If you do not start the in-person race, you will automatically be transferred to the virtual race

Virtual Instructions

• Participation: You can participate on your own time and on your own course
• Course Choice: You choose the location and if you would like to run or walk
• Extreme Caution: If you choose to run the race course, use extreme caution: it can be heavily traveled by cars
• Parking: Please obey all parking signage and do not park in the Fit Club parking lot

Submitting Your Result

Beginning December 6, 2026 after the in-person race you will be able to submit your time. To submit your virtual time, click on the link that will be emailed to virtual participants. You can submit results for one week, until December 13, 2026.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Packet pickup will be held on Saturday afternoon before race day
• Friend Pickup: You are welcome to have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you
• Race Morning Pickup: There will be race morning packet pickup outside AMF Springfield Lanes from 8:00 am to 8:45 am
• Mailing Option: Online registration includes an option to have your packet mailed for a separate $15 fee
