Closes: 7:00am on race day or when sold out. You must register from your own device, there is no paper registration.
Shirts and Hoodies: Available until inventory runs out. So if your size is showing available when you register, it's yours!
🏛️ Race Overview
Date: Join us on the first Saturday of April as runners from many states and countries take in Abraham Lincoln sites during this scenic half marathon.
Course: This USATF certified course will immerse you in Lincoln history unlike any other race!
Starting Point: The race starts at the Old State Capitol where Lincoln gave his famous House Divided speech.
Historic Stops: Runners will pass significant sites including the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices and Lincoln's final resting place.
📍 Course Highlights
First Quarter Mile: Just across the plaza from the Capitol, within the first quarter mile of the race, is the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices.
Lincoln's Home: Not even a mile into the race, runners go back in time for two blocks, passing by the only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned.
Oak Ridge Cemetery: During mile nine, runners enter Oak Ridge cemetery and are able to view Lincoln's final resting place.
Final Stretch: During the final mile, runners will pass by historic Union Train station adjacent to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library, just one block from the finish line.
🎉 Event Expo
Timing: 4pm – 8pm on Friday.
Location: At the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 701 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701.
Activities: We will have some awesome vendors and sponsors this year that will be on hand with giveaways & information.
📦 Packet Pickup
Friday Pickup: Packet pickup will be held at the Expo at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel from 4-8pm.
Race Morning: Location change! This year morning packet pickup will take place at the Old State Capitol from 6:30am-7:15am.
Recommendations: We strongly recommend getting packets the night before the race. Plus, you will get to see all the exciting new vendors!
