3rd Annual Grand Prairie Turkey 5K and Virtual Race!

Lace up your running shoes and take part in our exciting event, perfect for the whole family. Whether you prefer running or walking, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, you're sure to have a great time.

For those who can't attend in person, join us virtually! Registration includes a special race T-Shirt and a finisher's medal for all participants.

Make sure to grab a slice of delicious sweet potato or pumpkin pie before leaving the finish line.

Volunteer With Us

• Packet pickup: Arrive at race location no later than 6:15 am to help give out race packets and shirts.
• Aid station: Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles, and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.
• Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

• 7:45 am: Registration CLOSES (No-Exception)
• 8:00 am: 5K Start
• 9:15 am: 5K AWARDS
• 9:30 am: Course Closes

You can pick up packets for up to 5 participants at a time!

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• Cancelation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.
• Extreme Weather: The start time of this event may be delayed by up to half an hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Cancellation: If conditions turn hazardous, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Event Planning: A lot of hours, days, and even months go into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.

If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
