Participate Virtually
- Virtual Option: For those who can’t attend in person, join us virtually!
- Race Includes: A special race T-Shirt and a finisher's medal for all participants.
- Post-Race Treat: Make sure to grab a slice of delicious sweet potato or pumpkin pie before leaving the finish line.
- T-Shirt Availability: First come first serve: T-Shirt cutoff November 13th.
Youth 1K Fun Run/Walk (Ages 5–12)
- Purpose: The Youth 1K is the perfect way for kids to join the Thanksgiving fun!
- Course: Safe and easy to follow with encouragement along the way.
- Participation: Parents are welcome to run or walk alongside their child.
- What Youth Participants Receive: Race bib (untimed), finisher award (not a medal), snacks at the finish line, access to the post-race festivities.
Volunteer with Us
- Packet Pickup: Arrive at race location no later than 6:15 am to help give out race packets and shirts.
- Aid Station: Provide water to participants and keep course clean.
- Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
- Cheer Squad: Bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners.

- Pre-Packet Pickup Location: Epic Nutrition, 3154 State Hwy 161 Suite 630, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
- Date: November 24th 2026
- Time: 3pm-6pm
- Race Day Schedule: November 26th, starting at 7:00 am for packet pickup.
Awards
- Categories: Overall Male & Female
- Age Groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79
- 5K Awards: 9:15 am on Race Day.
- Course Closure: 9:30 am on Race Day.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
- No Refund Policy: Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine.
- Weather Delays: Start time may be delayed by up to a half hour.
- Safety Measures: Event may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
- Your Packet: If unable to participate, receive your packet, shirt, and medal to run the race on your own time.
