For those who can't attend in person, join us virtually! Registration includes a special race T-Shirt and a finisher's medal for all participants.

Make sure to grab a slice of delicious sweet potato or pumpkin pie before leaving the finish line.

👦 Youth 1K Fun Run/Walk (Ages 5–12)

• Age Group: Designed for young runners and walkers ages 5–12, this course is safe, easy to follow, and full of encouragement along the way.
• Participation: Whether your child is racing for a personal best, jogging with a friend, or enjoying their first official race—this 1-mile event is all about movement, confidence, and fun.
• Parental Involvement: Parents are welcome to run or walk alongside their child.
• What Youth Participants Receive: Race bib (untimed), finisher award (not a medal), snacks at the finish line, access to the post-race festivities. Give your kids a healthy, active start to Thanksgiving morning!

🤝 Volunteer with Us

• Packet Pickup: Arrive at race location no later than 6:15 am to help give out race packets and shirts.
• Aid Station: Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.
• Encouragement: Feel free to bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

📅 Packet Pickup

• Pre-Packet Pickup Location: Epic Nutrition, 3154 State Hwy 161 Suite 630, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Date: November 24th 2026
• Time: 3pm-6pm
• Race Day Schedule: 7:00 am - Packet Pickup & Registration, 7:30 am – Warm Up, 7:45 am – 1K Youth Fun Run, 8:00 am – 5K Start, 9:15 am – 5K AWARDS, 9:30 am - Course Closes.

You can pick up packets for up to 5 participants at a time!

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Male & Female winners will receive awards.
• Age Group: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79.

📋 Refund/Cancellation Policy

• Policy Note: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.
• Weather Impact: In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to a half hour.
• Conditions Safety: If conditions turn into lightning, ice, or become unsafe, the event may be canceled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Understanding The goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled: however, safety concerns can modify these plans.

If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
